Our Kai-Mei Chefs

Fuelled by their fiery passion and devotion to culinary excellence, the Suntec Chefs are the dynamic force behind the Kai-Mei concept.

It’s no mean feat to manage the dietary needs of an international mix of meeting attendees, but at Suntec Singapore, this is made possible by Executive Chef, Alfred Lee, who leads a team of diverse culinary professionals to deliver consistently creative and delectable cuisines.

For Chef Alfred, cooking is a constant pursuit of perfection to present the ultimate gastronomical experience for our guests. We hope that as you savour the Kai-Mei meal, our chefs’ love for food will also shine through.

An Ergonomic Design for
A Balanced Meal

Bearing in mind the needs of our meeting attendees, the Kai-Mei packaging boasts an ergonomic and environmentally-friendly design.

Each element of your meal fits snugly in the tray's compartments, allowing you to enjoy your meal on-the-go.

The packaging is also designed for balance and maximum convenience, so that you can carry it with one hand, without the risk of accidental spillages. You would find that even the ingredients in your meal are prepared in bite-sized pieces for your convenience.

Our Hygiene Credentials

With the health and safety of our guests as our top priority, all kitchens in Suntec Singapore are certified Grade A by the Singapore Food Agency - a testament to our high standards in overall hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping.

All our food handling staff are also certified in WSQ Food & Beverage Safety & Hygiene Policies & Procedures to ensure that your meals are always prepared and served in line with safety and hygiene protocols.

The Kai-Mei Packaging

At Suntec Singapore, we strive to be a green and sustainable venue. Hence, each Kai-Mei meal is packed into an environmentally-friendly box, featuring some of the most iconic sites of Singapore including the Merlion, Changi Airport and of course, Suntec Singapore.

The blend of old and new uniquely Singapore icons on the box reflect a balance of harmony and prosperity in Singapore.

Instead of providing a separate fork and spoon, our kai-mei meals use sporks — a spoon that doubles up as a fork to help minimise waste.

Green Packaging

With plastic waste and pollution becoming a worldwide concern in recent years, we know that it’s important for our Kai-Mei packaging to be produced in an environmentally friendly way. Hence, in designing the Kai-Mei packaging, we’ve made conscious efforts to source for materials that are certified green.
